What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file stored on your device when you visit a website. It stores preferences or helps measure traffic.

The cookies we use

  • Essential: session, CSRF protection, dark mode preference, and remembering your consent choice. These do not require your consent.
  • Advertising (Google AdSense): placed by Google to show relevant ads and measure their effectiveness. They are only placed after your acceptance.
  • Analytics: loaded only after you accept, using Google Consent Mode v2.

How to manage your consent

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or decline advertising and analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer, or by clearing your browser cookies and revisiting the site.

We use Google Consent Mode, so analytics and advertising technologies wait for your choice before they run. If you decline, they are not loaded.

You can also configure your browser to refuse cookies by default (privacy settings in Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, etc.).

Disabling Google advertising cookies

You can manage or disable ad personalization at adssettings.google.com or through your browser.
